Monterey Packaging Supplies needs a reliable, self motivated person for Full-Time position
Duties and responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct all of the business's inbound & outbound shipments via our own fleet of trucks, UPS, Fed-Ex, and LTL
- Management of staff's ability to accurately pull, check, compare and verify invoicesy
- account for payments on Collect on Delivery (COD) orders, includes both checks and cash that comes in from delivery drivers and customer pick ups
- safely operate delivery vehicle and warehouse equipment, as well as, follow company protocols and maintain all safety standards
- receiving and stocking inventory in the warehouse
- cleaning and maintenance of vehicles and work areas
- conducting inventory counts, keeping track of all damaged inventory and reporting this information to the operations manager
- coordinating work with fellow workers, team members and other managers
- must maintain an excellent attendance work record and arrive to work in a timely manner
- must have a pleasant demeanor and be able to communicate well with others
- should be able to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers and customers
Skills and Requirements of the job:
- High School diploma or Equivalent
- 3 years of supervisor experience in a warehouse setting
- basic computer, phone and math skills
- physically fit, and able to safely lift, carry and push up to 70lbs
- basic knowledge of operating warehouse equipment
- current California Class C License and clean DMV record (must provide DMW print out)
- forklift experience
- organizational skills
