I am going back to college in Chico and need him to go to a good home as I have no one to take care of him :( he is super healthy and very good. He knows basic commands and is a loyal and great boy. I just want to see him go to a compatible and functional environment where he can truly be happy and make doggy friends, be around loving family like he deserves. About Boomer: He has been around my dad and I for most his life. He is super friendly with my nephews but does occasionally nip their heels (he is a blue heeler). Never bit a child, I do have to mention he chases our to herd her or something but it’s playful he never bites her. We don’t have any animals here besides him, a few geese, ducks, and a cat so he is somewhat familiar with other farm friends. He is super energetic, he needs space and is he’s very attached and loyal. His off leash needs work but he knows his name and comes to it. He has bolted in the past for animals to try and heel them. He needs to be more socialized with other dogs as he is an only doggy but he is friendly after a few encounters on and off leash. Once he knows another dog he just plays forever. He is VERY one person so you need to socialize him As he is 2 and already is used to protecting masters. Once he is introduced and sees he has a family to protect he will be the best dog ever; and prefer contact over phone
