Shots Fired In College Park: Police Report

COLLEGE PARK, MD – Police say gunshots were fired by an unknown person in the 8100 block of Baltimore Avenue near Melbourne Place early Saturday morning. An alert was first sent out to the University of Maryland community at 1:43 a.m. Police described the suspects in a second update at 2:09 a.m. as two males, one wearing all black and the second wearing a white shirt with khaki pants. They added the suspects were last seen fleeing east on Melbourne Place. The University of Maryland Police Department and Prince George's County Police Department are investigating the incident. No injuries have been reported. This is a developing story. Check back for more updates.
