Starting pay range is $18.82 - $26.36 per hour. Highlands Ranch Metro District Parks, Recreation and Open Space are currently seeking a motivated individual to fill our Sports Field Technician position. This is a full-time position working forty (40) hours per week. Beginning in March until the end of October the position will work a (4) ten hours a day schedule, then working (5) eight-hour days Monday thru Friday November thru March. You must be able to work a flexible work schedule which includes weekends. The responsibilities of this position include maintenance of sports fields in the District’s parks and the community’s elementary school sports fields. Duties include: • Laying out and painting various sized sports fields on a weekly basis • General maintenance and preparation of baseball/softball fields for scheduled practices/games • Transportation, set up and removal of sports equipment such as goals and backstops • Inspection and documentation of condition of sports fields assigned • Winter time snow removal on either the snow plow or shovel crew The District offers an outstanding benefits package which includes medical, dental and vision coverage.
