BIRMINGHAM, AL — As cases of COVID-19 start to increase in Alabama, the state has launched a contest to promote vaccinations, via the popular social media platform Tik Tok. The contest will attempt to bump Alabama from the bottom of the country in vaccine percentage. Also in the news this week, the ballot for municipal election in Birmingham was finalized, as the deadline passed for candidates to register for the election.
