Beware of dog scammers

There was a daughter and father who were interested and paid for a dog i was rehoming, then by the next morning the father had dropped the dog off somewhere and i get a call from the dog warden. I have notified the warden and city authorities, can provide their names and phone numbers if you are in contact with anyone just so you know who NOT to rehome to. They really paid me for about 5 lbs of dog food and a leash, I went and picked the dog up at the city kennel. You can never be too careful.
