This is Kitt, a sweet 1.5-year-old Dalmatian/German Shepherd mix (birthday Jan. 17, 2019.) She's a rescue who graduated from K9 Performance Training in Bonsall. She's kennel-trained and good to stay in her "place" for hours if need be. Her owner did not grow up with dogs and simply cannot serve her needs for a confident, assertive leader. It'd be best if she had a yard to play in, or she'd make a great farm dog as she'd keep the squirrels and ground hogs away for sure! She's a great loose-lease walker, loves fetch and hitting any dog park in San Diego. She's still learning to get accustomed to going out to a cafe or a restaurant, as she can be a bit nervous on the leash. But with better pack leader, Kitt would be a fantastic pet. She's energetic when you need her to be, fit to do a 10-mile hike at the drop of a hat. And once she knows you, she never forgets a face and returns love with all the kisses you could desire!
