Hello, I am looking for more drumming students to study with me online. Face-to-face is also available in Portland, OR. Learn: Stick control, Rudiments, Time-keeping, Song form, Reading, Writing, Ear-Training, Theory, Composition, Accompaniment, Odd meters, polyrhythms, metric modulation, etc. My students can play any genre using what I am teaching. I've been writing and performing music on the drumset for over 25 years. I've worked with and helped jumpstart several amazing bands. My education: I studied contemporary music and studio musicianship at private academy, The Musician's Institute; classical percussion at IU; and jazz and composition at PSU school of music. I have taken classes and private lessons with some of the most authoritative educators in the drumming world. Some of the topics we cover will be taught out of books written by my personal teachers. Whether you need to develop and strengthen foundational skills, or want insight in how to play something specific, I will personally write a curriculum for you pulling from decades of materials and experience.
