Catering Chef needs assistant for a bridal shower for 25 on Saturday, July 31 and for a dinner party for 12 (8 adults and 4 children) in Kinzers on Saturday, August 8. July 31 approximate hours - 10 am - 7 pm August 8 approximate hours - 10 am - 10 pm**** ***hiring for August 8 is contingent on job performance on July 31 Compensation: $20 per hour The shower is in the backyard of a private home under a canopy with some seating, held from 2 pm - 5 pm. Food is primarily stationary finger foods and the beverage is punch. Tasks: Assist chef in some final food preparation, finger foods assembly, tray assembly, mixing punch, setting up food and beverage tables, making sure food trays are consistently replenished and punch bowl is full. Also: bussing and clearing, dishwashing, and helping load boxes and the chef's vehicle. Some Musts: Excellent can-do attitude and disposition. Professional and outstanding appearance (chef jacket and apron - black preferably) and hygiene. Proof of vaccination and/or a COVID test no later than 1 week old is required. Masks and gloves will be worn. Chef is very busy - this could lead to ongoing gigs!
