Description
Hey there. We were on a well known punk label and had a healthy following in the '90s and early 2000s but have been inactive since then. We’re hoping to change that. We’re seeking a guitar player who can provide some color to our songs and the occasional ripping lead when not doubling rhythm parts. A familiarity with the Fat Wreck/Epitaph style of ‘90s punk is a big plus. You MUST have the ability to sing vocal harmonies. Ideally you would be a reliable grown-up, 30+ years old, fully vaxxed and with experience recording and playing shows. The ability to record your parts via DAW would also be great. We don’t all live in the same city so the right person will be comfortable learning from demos initially. We are all 40+ with families, mortgages, and full-time jobs so touring isn’t going to happen but the occasional festival or weekend flyout is a possibility. Our first priority is making a new record, for which we have the bulk of the songs written.
If you think you fit the bill, please send links (YouTube, Bandcamp, Spotify, etc) that showcase your playing (and hopefully, singing). If you don’t do this part, you aren’t likely to get a reply. Thanks for looking!
