Boutique staffing company in NYC seeking Captains for events and Floor managers
Candidate must have relevant experience managing.
Should be capable of planning, organizing, leading and controlling efficiently the situations at hand.
Must have appropriate interpersonal skills to interact with guests/staff in a firm but respectful way, in order to maintain company policies and protocols.
This role will involve interacting with guests and employees constantly. Ambition to deliver a superior guest experience is a must.
Experience/qualifications required:
- 10+ years experience managing teams
- Strong but pleasant demeanor in order to deescalate unprecedented situations appropriately
- Customer service experience
- Ability to staff, create schedules and oversee floor efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment adequately
- Some retail experience is preferred (keeping track of inventory/ conducting sales etc)
-Must be comfortable assigning tasks to various employees and supervising them
Fast problem solving skills a plus*
Venue management experience a plus*
Pop up shop management experience a plus*
