Trump said he would gladly make his tax returns public after the government audit of his taxes was finished. As it turns out, there was no government audit of his taxes at the time. This was a lie. An honest man/president has nothing to hide even if they are being audited. The ONLY reason why anyone would hide their tax returns is to cover up fraud. Trump brags about his income and wealth often. Showing his taxes would be a great way to do this. You would think an egomaniac like Trump would jump at the chance to show off his wealth. The irony here is, Trump is surely going to be audited now. He is under investigation for criminal tax fraud. Trumps lie is biting him in the ass.
