The US offers immigrants fleeing political oppression in their home countries to apply for asylum here, Cubans clearly qualify so it makes perfect sense they should be given the opportunity the same as others coming to our border and further we as freedom loving Americans should assist as best we can. Interestingly Biden and the Democratic Party have vocally and forcefully told them if they come they will be turned back not allowed to enter. This is antithetical to the over 1 million Central Americans that have crossed our border illegally this year most of which claim they seek political asylum and are allowed to stay. The Cubans unquestionably qualify for political and economic asylum, the Central Americans are yet to be determined if they actually do. I am not anti South American and actually half my family were born there, some remain. I am pro American particularly pro US and believe in our Constitutional Republic which through Congress passed immigration laws that are being ignored for obvious political reasons by the Biden Administration, supported by the Democratic Party. This should clarify the issue for you. You should be asking why Cubans who are Latinx like all the Central and South Americans who've crossed our borders are being rejected before they try to come here. If you don't mind tell me what you've just read and heard, I'm here to help those like you who are either misinformed or uninformed. It’s sounds like you are anti South American immigration but you think we should let masses of Cubans in? Make up your kind man.
