Hi, I am a retired Memphian musician, producer and audio engineer who spent most of my life making music in one form or another. I have helped launch some very successful careers over the years recording songwriters and recording artist in my early years while living in Nashville. I also worked with one of the top studio designers in the world, building some of the country's best recording studios. I am wanting to offer my services to anyone who needs their music recorded, (song writers, producers, or music/vocal artist) and would like to record analog with live instruments and vocals. I have a basic home studio that I have used over the years consisting of an 80 channel analog console with full dynamics on every channel, 40 channels of British mic pre's and full automation. I have some outboard mic pre's & compressors for additional "flavor" (Neve, Avalon, miktek,drawmer, t.c. electronic,DBX etc). I have decent effects (lexicon pcm91 stereo, and (2) Sony dps-v55). A good mic selection, pearl session drums, Kawai Acoustic piano, Martin Acoustic guitar, Strat, les Paul,fender jazz bass, Warwick acoustic bass, guitar amps (Fender studio lead, Randal MTS with Marshal plexy, fender twin and Vox high gain modules. David Eden "Metro" Ampex SVT 15" speaker) 5 recording booths plus the control room makes 6. I have two Ramsa DA-7 32 channel 24bit-digital mixers. I record analog to Stand alone Hard Disk recorders and then master down back thru analog to a final digital conversion. However I can also record to your DAW and have available "tie-lines" for your out board gear and audio monitors etc. The Studio uses Neumann KH-310 monitors and find them to be very accurate but we also have extra monitor "outs" for your personal monitors if you should have the need. For Song writers, I am very experienced at taking a song to full production, play all the instruments, come up with "signature lines" etc. For Bands, I have years of production/arragement experience and have the isolation booths and rooms to give you the cleanest tracks. I do both tracking, mixing and basic mastering. For Producers and Engineers, I have a nice 800sf studio with central HVAC that is quite. 12x22 control room with a separate machine closet for tape machines and computers. I have Two 24chanel tie lines for your outboard gear and "Lunch Box's".
