If your looking for entertainment, don't come here to find it. The Marshall County Fair has to be the biggest joke in the state of Iowa. Poorest excuse for a fair I have ever seen in my life. You would think with 28,000 legal residents and half that many illegal, they could at least put on a descent fair with good entertainment and draw better than the usual Walmartians. Saturday night was the absolute pits! Some big talk dumb drink of water playing a guitar and couldn't sing his way out of a barrow was on stage. He was terrible and the previous country no name band before him left a lot to be desired as well. Who ever is in charge of the fair entertainment should be taken out and horsed whipped. This is just typical of Marshalltown......can't do anything right and as cheap as possible with very little effort. We will never support ANYTHING in that poor excuse for a town ever again. They deserve to go to the Beaner's.
