Description
It didn't state that taxpayers would be picking up the bill explicitly but very few people have the money or insurance to pay for things like double lung transplants. Even fewer of those live in red states where they pretty much disregarded the Obamacare insurance mandate when it was still around. Just like they ignore every other law while calling for "law and order" against minorities.
If the care was at a public hospital, the taxpayers will wind up eating the cost pretty directly. If it's a private hospital, they'll count it as a loss and deduct from their taxes anyway.
I have no objection to taxpayer money being spent on public health. I strongly object to people refusing to take a FREE shot and then running up a million dollar plus hospital bill while at the same time complaining about taxes.
