Maintenance Cleaning Technician opening in Lombard, a multi-unit apartment complex. Duties include unit turns, work orders and general maintenance of the property. Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician: • Unit Turns • Unit Work Orders - such as Appliance Cleaning • Light appliance repair, knobs, burners, heat elements, broken handles, etc. (preferred, not required) • Daily walk of the grounds, vacuum and pick-up garbage as needed to keep areas well maintained. • Follow up with management on all repairs and work needed or completed. • Other duties as needed. What the Successful Maintenance Technician will have: • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician. Prior maintenance experience in property management or janitorial services strongly preferred. • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and vendors. • Able to work well independently and also collaborate effectively with manager. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail. • Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations. • Hiring is contingent on passing a background check and drug test.
