Description

Hello There Fellow Musicians, I have been playing music in bands, on -and-off, for over 25 years now. In the past, I have put together a few acoustic ensembles, and they were some of the best performance experiences I have had. Thus, for the last 14 years, acoustic guitar has been my passion. To that end, I have put together about 100 songs including almost all James Taylor, many Fleetwood Mac, and a mix of the Eagles, Simon and Garfunkel, Steely Dan, Beatles, CSNY (Neil), Jimmy Buffet, Stones, Grateful Dead, and many others of that era. I am looking for someone who can sing harmony and will share the lead vocals; at least somebody who is able and willing to try to sing harmony on some of these songs I already have performance-ready. I have arranged on the guitar. - You don't have to be "a natural." Those of us who have played out in a band with good vocals, know that this is where the magic happens, but it takes work, dedication, and a love for the sound of harmonies done right. Incidentally, in addition to the vintage rock, I also have mixed in a few more contemporary tunes that have come along and seemed to lend themselves to the acoustic such as Wagon Wheel, Good Riddance, Drive by Incubus, etc. [If you know those tunes and play violin/fiddle, you know they work great for violin.] Finally, I also have a laundry list of JAZZ tunes for the right venues - to be mixed in, highlighted, or entirely left out, and I have 40 + Christmas Tunes FULLY ready if someone wants to do a Christmas “thing!” Talk to you soon! David
