Esta es la producción para la pantalla grande de el musical de Broadway ganador de multiples premios. ¿De qué trata la historia? La historia se lleva a cabo durante tres días en el vecindario de Washington Heights en la parte alta de Manhattan, donde el dueño de una bodega hereda las ganancias de lotería de su difunta abuela y planea cerrar su tienda y retirarse en una playa en la República Dominicana. English: We have launched a new free monthly community event , " Dominican Movie Matinee", where we'll be showing a dominican movie each month, the first show will be the film "In The Heights" by the award-winning producer Lin Manuel Miranda. This is the big screen production of the multi-award winning Broadway musical. What's the story about? Takes place over three days in the upper Manhattan neighborhood of Washington Heights, where a bodega owner inherits his late grandmother's lottery winnings and plans to shutter his store and retire on a beach in the Dominican Republic. The Dominican Association of Washington is a community-based nonprofit organization founded to connect  and build bridges between Washington State and the Dominican Republic.  La Asociación Dominicana del Estado de Washington es una organización comunitaria sin fines de lucro fundada para conectar y construir puentes entre el Estado de Washington y la República Dominicana.
