Learn about honeybees and life inside the hive. This class is suited for ages 8-12 years old.
This class will have an observation hive with live bees, a bunch of beekeeping equipment to show and explain how a person opens a hive, a fact finding scavenger hunt, a “bee“ relay, and a craft ( that can be brought home if not enough time).
You will be learning about honeybees, their importance to food and the environment, the general structure of a hive, bee roles and hierarchy, and bee keeping
