In this two-session class, you will learn how to cast on, knit, purl, bind off, how to read a pattern and how to read your knitting Join Kristina for this 2 day knitting workshop! July 17, & 24 1-3pm Have you always wanted to learn to knit, but get frustrated trying to figure it out on your own? Kristina will walk you through it, answering any questions you have. In this two-session class, you will learn how to cast on, knit, purl, bind off, how to weave in ends, and how to read your knitting, as you knit a garter stitch coaster, or more than one! Materials included: Aran weight wool yarn, size 10 knitting needles, and 2 patterns. PLEASE NOTE** There is a $10 materials fee due at beginning of 1st class, payable directly to instructor. You can also choose to pay the fee when you purchase ticket here** Purchasing a ticket for this class includes both days of the workshop. 1st session: Saturday July 17, 1-3pm. 2nd session: Saturday July 24, 1-3pm. This is an outdoor event. Masks and social distancing are mandatory You may remove your mask once seated. You are agreeing to our waiver by purchasing a ticket. Please read waiver HERE before purchasing. Kristina's Bio: I have been knitting enthusiastically for 13 years now. I edit knitting patterns professionally and love knitting my client's designs in my head. Sharing knitting with other folks is a joy for me. The Burncoat Center for Arts and Wellness is an oasis for people of all ages who want to explore both their creative, and artistic potential and overall wellness of the body and mind. Burncoat Center for Arts and Wellness offers a collection of classes, programs, workshops, and once a month market days to draw the community together for arts, crafts, and mindfulness.
