Learn how to create chalk murals from a team of chalk artists every Saturday. A walkable art gallery every week! This is a weekly workshop for students of all ages to participate in each and every week if they so choose. Each workshop is priced per parking space so families can sign up for the day together too. All materials are provided. Designs may be original or selected from the staff stockpile in the studio. Students will learn the basics of creating a larger design, prepping the surface, and using chalk pastels and tempera paint to make vivid works of art on pavement. There are many tricks to the trade and several local chalk artists there to enthusiastically share them. Enjoy this grounding art form and take a break from screens with the summer’s coolest gallery.
