I'll drive up to an hour or you can bring them to me guilt free. You can do a porch drop off, no questions asked, if need be. Just let me know what species and when you're dropping off and I'll let you come and go quietly and make sure to grab them out of the summer heat right away. Life is hectic and we all get over our heads sometimes, don't judge yourself, just do the right thing! I have experience with leopard geckos, ball pythons, sand boas, chameleons, uromastyx, iguanas, and more. I will vet your animal and get them placed to a loving home (or keep them if they love me :D) once they're feeling better. Honestly, if you have a pet that isn't a reptile or lizard, I might just accept it anyway! It's always better to try than not!
