Explore Louisville's unique bourbon whiskey history and its influence today through a free "Whiskey Walking Tour" in downtown Louisville, KY Immerse yourself in Louisville’s special bourbon whiskey history by joining us for a free “Whiskey Walking Tour”. A “Looking at Louisville” walking tour guide will take you on a ten-block journey through downtown Louisville, sharing their knowledge of pre-Prohibition Louisville and the boom of bourbon on Whiskey Row that is still taking place to this day. All tours start and end at the Louisville Visitor Center and last 90 minutes. Tours are capped at 8 participants and walk-ins only taken based upon availability. Tours are weather pending. For more information about the Louisville Visitor Center's COVID-19 safety protocols, please visit: https://www.gotolouisville.com/visitor-center/ The Louisville Visitor Center is part of the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau, dba Louisville Tourism.  Located at the corner of Fourth & Jefferson streets in downtown Louisville, the Louisville Visitor Center is open 7 days a week and is a one-stop shop for brochures, maps, experience itineraries, dining suggestions, coupons and shopping for Louisville and Bourbon-themed items.  Also, attraction tickets are available for purchase and you can pick up and redeem Urban Bourbon Trail and Kentucky Bourbon Trail passports.
