Proceeds from this event will benefit the Girlie Girls Mentoring Program. On Saturday, January 15, 2022 the Girlie Girls Mentoring Program will be hosting a Celebrity Lip Sync Battle. Local dignitaries, community leaders, and business owners will perform a song from one of their favorite artists. Dinner will be included in the price of the ticket. Guests will also have the opportunity to bid on some fabulous items from our live auction. ADULT AFFAIR ONLY! Thank you to our Exclusive Title Sponsor The Girlie Girls Mentoring Program was founded on June 01, 2013. The goal of GGMP is to inspire its members to dream bigger and work harder to accomplish their goals. Our motto, “I CAN ONLY BE ME,” reflects the self-love we instill in our girls year round. Our organization has been recognized by former First Lady Michelle Obama as a program that enhances the lives of young women. Her message to me was, “America needs your hands, your hearts, and your hard work now more than ever. History tells us that when we come together as a nation with a sense of purpose and a spirit of service, no challenge is too great.” I have seen a tangible influence on the lives of the girls I am mentoring. I am hopeful that my program will provide additional momentum, resources, and valuable tools to assist in molding the girls for success in areas they might have never been exposed to. Girlie Girls is an organization that has the potential to make a national impact by empowering girls to make individual and social changes. Young girls are invited to share their views and values in efforts to create viable solutions. These efforts are carried out through social change projects that address issues that girls face within their communities. Girlie Girls encourages a positive personal and social transformation within its members as well. Girls experience elevated self-esteem as they gain confidence in voicing their opinions, learn problem-solving skills, and realize their future potentials. Girlie Girls Mentoring Program envisions its girls as strong, active leaders engaging in universal problem-solving dialogue, offering solutions to problems that require civic, political, and cultural insight. As our girls acquire leadership skills, Girlie Girls intend to develop partnerships between its members and experienced female leaders who can provide effective coaching/mentoring while building relationships.
