Night Four of the 2021 Blue Whiskey Independent Film Festival, featuring four (4) short films and one (1) feature.
FEATURE SYNOPSIS: Jamie works a wood processor, clear-cutting for pulp in small-town Nova Scotia. At the end of each shift, he walks through the destruction he has created looking for injured animals and rescues those he can. Adapted from a play by Nova Scotian author Catherine Banks, Bone Cage is a first feature from Halifax actor/filmmaker Taylor Olson that sensitively excavates the tragedy of how young people in rural communities, employed in the destruction of their environment, treat the people they love at the end of their shift.

PLEASE NOTE: Session runs from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Shorts program begins at 7:00 PM, followed by a brief intermission, and concludes with the feature film, Bone Cage. General admission tickets provide entry to all films in the session.
Blue Whiskey Independent Film Festival (BWiFF) is a not-for-profit organization based in the greater Chicagoland area. The festival seeks out bold and innovative filmmakers that utilize story elements in a new and exciting way, presenting character-driven independent cinema that is fueled by the filmmaker's passion for the art without large studio support.
