Raleigh’s Lemon Sparks is an original 'roots pop' band blending classic songwriting with sophisticated 60s psychedelia, 70s power pop, timeless folk, and jazz. The band has played regional clubs and festivals, as well as toured as support for larger international acts. Their self-titled debut album was initially intended as a DIY recording project, but quickly morphed into a performing act. Lemon Sparks is Jeff Carroll (guitar, vocals), Greg Tourian (drums, vocals), and Rick Lassiter (bass, vocals). The band’s brand new album, titled Raincloud In the Sun, is scheduled for release in October 2021.
