Seed Saving Workshop
After the explosion of gardeners during the Covid-19 pandemic, we know how quickly seeds can become scarce. We can become more self-sufficient if we don’t have to rely on large companies to supply us with things we can provide for ourselves. Saving seeds means more money in our pockets to spend on other things. The seed saving process forces us to engage more fully with nature while preserving existing plant varieties or creating new ones. We also increase the genetic diversity available within a plant species when we save seeds, which creates resilience within our gardens. Come learn how to save seeds to preserve history and your pennies.
