Historic House Tours on the half-hour at 11-12:30 & 2-2:30 The Wren’s Nest--The historic home of Joel Chandler Harris, and the birthplace of the American illustrated storybook--is pleased to announce its return to regular operations beginning Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 1:00 PM EDT with a special live storytelling session and the introduction of new Wren’s Nest House Tours. Weekly storytelling sessions will continue on Saturdays at 1:00 PM, along with house tours available on the hour and half hour from 11-12:30, preceding the live storytelling and again at 2 and 2:30, following the live storytelling.
