Vilano Main Street presents Community Events on Airstream Row Saturday Artisan "Pop-up" Markets – every 3rd Saturday monthly 10 am to 3 pm The Saturday market is open to local entrepreneurs to promote products and services to Vilano Beach residents and visitors. Tents, tables, food trucks and performers on stage vary monthly with unique offerings including crafts, art, clothing, produce, jewelry, honey, macrame and more. 2021 will see several small community events in VILANO BEACH at Airstream Row where attendance is limited and outdoors, requiring social distancing and masks. Sponsors for supporting our market include: Matthews Design Group, VyStar Credit Union, Collage Construction, Hyatt Place, Holiday Inn Express, All Weather contractors, Inc., RC Development Decks and Docks and others. Masks required and provided free, with sanitizer available * Seating and circulation limited and socially distanced * Food and drinks available. Free admission to public. As an accredited member of the National Main Street Center and designated by the Florida Department of Historic Preservation, VBMS employs the four point strategy for community development focusing on design review; strong organizational practices; value added community promotions; and systematic economic restructuring. The Vilano Beach Main Street Program has recieved several regional planning awards, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection Sustainable Florida Award, and numerous Merit Awards given by the Secretary of State from Florida Main Street for Outstanding Public Improvement for its Town Center Streetscape. The program received over $25 million in grants for public improvements, including $4.1 million from the Florida Forever Florida Communities Trust to purchase property on the end of the Town Center to be used as an oceanfront park, community and special events center for permanent public use, sea turtle nesting center, and waterfront access. In 2008, the community streetscape celebration marked a milestone leading on to a cumulative $41 million dollar economic impact return as of 2015 data.
