The Goodell Sisters is part of the Examining our Roots Local History Series Examining Our Roots, a focus on Local History Description: Our community has a rich history of agriculture and ornamental horticulture. In these sessions, we will delve into the past to explore early rural life in Edinboro and the legacy of the Goodell Family. Join us to learn more about the unique story of our town, where you will encounter the fascinating personalities of two women whose gardens live on as our organization enters its third decade. Early Rural Life - Sunday, September 19; at 2 pm Monday, September 20 at 7 pm The Goodell Sisters - Sunday, September 26 at 2 pm; Monday, September 27 at 7 pm Goodell Gardens & Homestead is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization located in Edinboro, Pennsylvania. An educational institution with a mission focused on delivering plant-based education, Goodell Gardens identifies as a botanical garden, arboretum, community gathering space and heritage site offering a variety of educational and cultural events.
