LONG BEACH, NY — Whether you're a top-tier athlete or just want to practice endurance activities, the 41st annual Long Beach biathlon is a good place to be. More than 300 competitors are expected to run the three miles on the beach and swim 300 yards in the ocean Sunday, the city of Long Beach said on its website.
