Description
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — Fairfax County Police are inviting community members to take part in National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 3.
Each year, neighborhoods and law enforcement departments from around the country gather together on the first Tuesday in August to promote public safety.
National Night Out is also an opportunity for residents to get outside and host events, where they can meet their neighbors and learn from local law enforcement representatives how to make their neighborhood safer. Past events have included cookouts, music, and other activities.
County residents who plan to host a National Night Out event and who want Fairfax County Police to stop by, can register their event here. More information about National Night Out is available online.
