CONNECTICUT — A total of three state parks in Connecticut are closed to swimming as of Saturday afternoon. Gay City State Park swim area is closed for swimming and will be retested on Tuesday, July 20 with results on Wednesday, July 21. Mashamoquet swimming area is closed for ongoing maintenance and Indian Well State Park is closed due to storm damage. The parks below are the swimming areas and beaches that the DEEP tests.
