Press release from the Delgado Community College Jefferson Campus: July 15, 2021 The Adult Education Program at Delgado Community College (DCCAEP) is excited to release a new and improved registration experience for prospective students. Starting in July 2021, the online registration form will be shorter, and all new students can be paired with a success coach who can help with completing the full enrollment process. "In looking at our program data over the last three years, we found a clear trend and opportunity for improvement: over 70% of students that enroll in a class are showing skill gains as measured by TABE pre and post-tests. But, there are a significant number of students that aren't completing the full registration process in order to enroll in their first class," said Dr. Jancarlos Wagner Romero, Director of Adult Education. "In response to that analysis, we've revised and improved our intake process to simplify the experience for students while also making available new kinds of support to help make it easier for anyone to enroll in our free classes." Students that are interested in working with a coach can connect in a variety of formats: phone, email, video chat, or text message. Coaches are then available to help students: With new classes starting in August, students can register online now at www.dccaep.org.  About the Adult Education Program The Adult Education Program at Delgado Community College is a free program available to any adult in the Greater New Orleans area looking to build academic and professional skills.
