Press release from the Arapahoe County Government: July 16, 2021 Arapahoe County now accepting 2022 Aid to Agencies applications Arapahoe County is accepting applications until Aug. 27, 2021, for its annual Aid to Agencies grant program, which provides nearly $530,000 in funding for eligible non-profit 501(C)(3) or 501(C) organizations that meet the application criteria and serve the County's at-risk and underserved populations. The County has been evaluating all its programs and services – including Aid to Agencies – in an effort to create a sustainable budget over the next five to seven years. Over the past six months, County staff has been evaluating the Aid to Agencies program, surveying agency recipients to solicit feedback, reviewing similar programs conducted by other agencies, and holding a series of study sessions to discuss areas of concern and potential options to better align the program with the Board's new strategic plan. A full listing of open positions, beyond those that will be included at the job fair, is available at www.governmentjobs.com/careers/arapahoe. -Get Details- Welcome to Facilities and Fleet Director Patrick O'Neill Arapahoe County is proud to welcome Patrick O'Neill as the new director of Facilities and Fleet Management. He began his new responsibilities on July 1. O'Neill will oversee building maintenance and custodial operations, maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment, and project management for all new construction, remodels and non-construction/special projects. The Fleet and Facilities department serves locations in every corner of the County, from Bennett to Littleton and Aurora to Centennial. Most recently, O'Neill spent 14 years as the division director of facilities and services at Front Range Community College in Westminster, where he was responsible for supporting maintenance and operations of the 450,000-square foot campus. He grew up in Detroit's Eastside area. He is the youngest of five brothers and a first-generation college graduate, with a bachelor's degree in public administration and a master's in education from Wayne State.
