Local Midland, NC company needs to fill quality control tech position. Previous experience preferred. $12-18 / hr based on experience. Will train motivated individuals with no previous experience. 2ND SHIFT - 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm - Monday through Friday. JOB DUTIES: Quality Control -- Ensure QC processes are followed during receiving of material. -- Ensure all finished tops have been measured and checked against shop drawings. -- Ensure all finished tops have been cleaned and prepared for install. Staging -- Ensure all of tomorrow’s installs are staged by close of business of the day before. -- Ensure all pieces are accounted for. -- Ensure the pieces are properly loaded and secured on the A-Frames Safety -- Utilize and maintain safety guidelines and train stone fabricators on proper safety procedures. -- Respond to all safety related issues in a proper and timely manner. -- Organization and cleanliness creates the conditions for a safe environment. Skills and Knowledge -- Demonstrated knowledge of countertop materials and usage -- Detail and deadline focused -- Self-starter requiring minimal supervision -- Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills -- Strong communication and interpersonal skills Benefits: -- Benefit program eligibility 1st day of the month following your first day of employment; medical, dental, life, disability, paid time off, incentive program, and other supplemental voluntary benefits available.
