Happy Helpers Moving Co, a veteran owned and operated company, is looking to provide motivated individuals an opportunity to succeed in this growing market. We are a new company founded by a prior service Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician. Brock, the owner of Happy Helpers Moving Co, experienced a drastic shift in his lifestyle after completing his military service. This loss of brotherhood is a common occurrence with many other veterans. Unlike civilians, many veterans face significant physical and psychological challenges due to the nature of their military service. Challenges that no one should have to combat alone. Therefore, we prioritize hiring our prior service members and their family members with the goal of connecting veterans in their work environment to other individuals who face similar challenges. Although we do prioritize veterans in our hiring process, we are also a fan of our patriots! Our commercial facility is based just a mile northeast of downtown Sarasota. We are in the process of establishing an outdoor Rogue Fitness Facility. The goal of this is to encourage our employees to lead healthy and successful lifestyles. Additionally, giving them a place to meet with other veterans/colleagues outside of “work” and establish valuable relationships. As a company, we maintain a high standard. If the scale is 1-5 stars, we’re always searching for the next best way to be a 6. We are establishing a Moving Specialist Training Facility at our warehouse to ensure that every employee feels 110% confident in their abilities prior to their first move. The employee compensation is variable based on experience. We start our employees out at an hourly rate from $14-$17 + TIPS! There is room for growth as you begin to develop more experience as a Moving Specialist. Our Moving Experts (Drivers/Crew Leaders) earn $18-$20 per hour + TIPS! You will initially engage in a probationary period for 4 weeks. Over this time, you will be evaluated to ensure that this is a mutually beneficial hiring decision.
