Description

We took her in during lockdown so she wouldn't be put down by her original family, but she is just not getting along with the rest of my pack. I think she needs to be the only dog of an experienced owner. Approximately 120 lbs, fawn. We don't have kids, but she's been good when she meets them. She doesn't have issues with our cats, but your mileage may vary, since she is a breed with a prey drive. They told us she was purebred when we took her in -- she certainly looks it. She's amazing with her humans. Bonds quickly to a family, but is extremely pain adverse, so physical punishment is not going to work. We got her crate trained, she came potty trained, and knows the basics of sit, down, and up. She has a harness and martingale collar that she wears. We have not chipped her, not sure if she has a chip from previous family. Rabies vax is good for another 2 months, I think. I love her to pieces and wish we could have gotten her to fit in with the rest of the pack, because she's an amazing dog. She has been indoor since we took her in, and doesn't appreciate being chained at all, and hates the rain. She needs a backyard she can patrol and run around in, and a family who she can dote on and protect. Asking $100 for rehoming -- I just don't want her to be bait or puppy milled. She deserves better than that, and we really love her. She'll have her harness, collar, favorite toy (Kong treat dispenser), period diapers, and a couple months of flea treatments.
