If you have at least two years door experience...You just might be the person we are looking for, for the Foreman position. We are also hiring for a helper position as well. this position does not require experience; however, we prefer a back ground in construction and a person who is mechanically inclined. Estimator requires 5 yrs+ in the field and at least 1 year office experience. Barr Door, Inc. is a 24/7 Full service door & dock equipment company specializing in distribution, repair, service, testing & installation of all commercial, industrial doors, hardware & loading dock equipment. We are hiring for a helper position as well. This position does not require experience in the industry. Must be mechanically inclined. Estimator Position- Must be mechanically inclined. Must have performed repairs/installations on doors and dock equipment previously, have communicating skills with customers and office, and enjoy going to different job sites to scope out doors, doors, gates etc. Abilities/Skill Requirements: A minimum of two years of working in the door industry is required for a foreman position (not helper). Bi-lingual is a plus but not required. Must have the following abilities: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to lift 50 lbs. often, stand for long periods of time and squat when necessary. Ability to write service reports and communicate verbally with customers as well as front office. Ability to calculate figures and read a tape measure. Must be willing to work 40 hours plus and participate in a rotating on-call schedule. Must have a Valid Drivers license & good driving record (NO DUI'S).
