In need of temporary home

I am looking for a temporary home for my dog. I left an abusive relationship and was able to take my dog with me for his safety. Unfortunately I am in an apartment until the end of the year and he is just too big and active for apartment living. My kids have lost almost everything they knew and I am trying to keep their dog in their lives. I know it’s asking a lot and I know it’s unlikely but I am desperate and trying anything before I have to put him up for adoption. Luke is 5 years old. Neutered and house trained. He is calm when he needs to be but does need some space to play and get some energy out. He is currently staying with a friend that has two other large breed dogs that he gets along with well. One is a senior with joint issues, he is gentle around her. The other is a hyper husky that he enjoys playing with but cannot keep up with energy wise. Luke was raised around small dogs, cats and kittens and does well with all of them. He is comfortable and behaves around kids of all ages and both men and women. Luke has a very scary bark and does well as a guard dog. His favorite pass times include sleeping, cuddling and getting scratched. What I can provide: All of his food and treats Vaccines and medical care Weekly visits or multiple visits weekly if you are in the Coachella Valley. Right now I take him for about two hours a week to a local dog park. Grooming I know housing a dog for any period of time is no small ask. And I am asking for a lot.
