Join the Farm Alliance of Baltimore’s Black Butterfly Urban Farmer Academy for an on farm field day! This field day will be hosted by Denzel Mitchell and Alison Worman of the Farm Alliance of Baltimore. Both Alison and Denzel have managed, organized and staffed numerous farmers markets including neighborhood stands, special events and large scale markets. From these experiences they will share tips and best practices for markets and marketing. Attendees will get to see examples of successful market strategies and have the opportunity to set up a mock market stand. This is a free outdoor, in-person workshop. Pre registration is required so we can plan accordingly. We suggest that attendees wear closed-toed shoes and clothes you won't mind getting dirty. Be sure to bring a water bottle!
