Starting a non-pro Duet, Trio, or Quartet.

Description

I'm not looking for anything too serious. Just a small group to jam with. Maybe doing an occasional open mic. Eventually perhaps even doing something like a public service, maybe playing one hour gigs once in a while at senior centers, etc. I play rhythm guitar and a bit of harmonica. I also sing a bit. A VERY little bit. Looking for a person or people to compliment my own meager abilities. Prefer one or two people besides myself. Three at most (making it a quartet total). It's just too difficult getting everyone together at once when you start getting more people. Especially when you are mainly doing it for fun. Retired ages preferred, but not totally locked in. That just makes it easier to find time to get together. (I'm an old retired geezer, myself.) Male or female. Not really looking for “just singers”, but a singer might be considered, depending on what other people I find. Even though this is mainly for fun I DO want people that are dedicated enough to try to get together at least once a week. Classic rock, country, light bluegrass, and a little bit of most anything else. I'm not too picky and I do like variety. I mostly play acoustic, but it is acoustic/electric, so it can be plugged in. (I also have an electric, but hardly ever even pick it up.) And I do only have a small practice amp, but could probably pick up something a bit more powerful should it become necessary for some reason. So... is anyone interested? If so, then let's discuss it. I'm in Caldwell, but can meet most anywhere throughout the greater Boise area.
