Mountain bike rides are back for Summer 2021! We are so excited to bring back MTB rides this summer! These rides will be two hours long and will leave from the dollar lot on south side Galbraith. There will be a beginner and intermediate group option. We will also be following COVID regulations in correlation with the state of WA. This is a free event with the option to make a donation to Shifting Gears, as well as your ride leader. This event is all about creating an inclusive and empowering community. It is a no-drop ride and all WOMXN are welcome. We look forward to seeing you out there! Shifting Gears is a non-profit creating welcoming recreation experiences that encourage confidence, wellness, growth and joy. Our inclusive cycling and hiking programs will focus on breaking down barriers  that stand in the way between a person and their aspirations. By participating in Shifting Gears programs, community members will walk away with the tools that they need to attain their recreational goals. Whether it be learning how to change a flat tire, cycling 50 miles, locating accessible trails, finding a hiking partner, setting goals or just remembering how to "play," our aim is to create a welcoming environment for all to join in and learn.
