Call for Volunteers for NAWIC Baltimore's Camp NAWIC, a free week-long day camp to introduce girls to a career in the construction industry. Are you a woman in the Baltimore-area construction industry who wants to mentor and inspire girls about a career in the construction industry? If so, consider volunteering for NAWIC Baltimore's annual Camp NAWIC, August 2-6, 2021! For five days, girls 7th to 12th grade will learn hands-on construction skills, working with real tools. They will learn from women like you who do this every day, and will discover that construction is NOT just for guys. Come share your experience in the construction industry and inspire girls by telling your story! Camp NAWIC is a free, week-long day camp for 7th to 12th grade girls to introduce them to a potential career in the construction industry. Many young girls are unaware of the possibility of a rewarding and financially beneficial career in the construction trades or related fields. Camp NAWIC is designed to give them real hands-on experience. After registering as a volunteer, a representative from NAWIC Baltimore will contact you with additional information.
