Join the Farm Alliance of Baltimore’s Black Butterfly Urban Farmer Academy for an on farm field day! Nazirahk Amen of Purple Mountain Organics and Purple Mountain Tools will share his expertise on farm tools for small scale farms. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the UDC Firebird Farm and see some tools in action. Purple Mountain Organics is a small-scale custom farming operation promoting regenerative agricultural practices and quality tools. It is an extension of the work of Nazirahk Amen and Wisdom Path Healing Center. Food is medicine! This is a free outdoor, in-person workshop. Pre registration is required so we can plan accordingly. We suggest that attendees wear closed-toed shoes and clothes you won't mind getting dirty. Be sure to bring a water bottle!
