Join us to welcome Spelman's Class of 2025 into the sisterhood! Freshman Class of 2025, Spelman students, Alumnae, and Guests: The DMV Chapters of the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College would like to welcome you to the Spelman sisterhood with a dessert food truck and festivities. Join us on August 1st as we celebrate you, the Class of 2025, and cheer you on as you begin your journey as Spelman women. *Family members are welcome to attend. Freshman students will receive two (2) complimentary food truck tickets. Additional guests, students, and alumnae tickets are $6.00 each. The National Alumnae Association of Spelman College, Columbia, MD (NAASC Columbia, MD) chapter engages in recruitment efforts for Spelman College; fosters sisterhood among alumnae; develops leaders at the local, regional, and national levels of NAASC; and implements activities designed to secure scholarship funds for Maryland area Spelman students, including our signature annual Jazz Benefit concerts.  The first scholarship given by the NAASC Columbia, MD chapter was awarded in 1980.  To date, more than $164,000 in scholarships and book awards have been provided to local area Spelman students by the NAASC Columbia, MD chapter.
