Family Moth Night Friday July 30th 8pm-10pm at Wetlands Overlook Park, North Beach Family Moth Night Wetlands Park 7.30.21 @ 8-10pm Family Moth Night Friday July 30th 8pm-10pm at Wetlands Overlook Park, North Beach North Beach Community Conservation plans an evening Family Moth Night Friday July 30th 8pm-10pm at Wetlands Overlook Park. Bring a blanket and some snacks as the naturalist shows different techniques for discovering our night flying Moths. We will “Sugar” for moths, use bait traps and a black light sheet tent to see what creatures come out at night. We may spot fireflies, Luna moths, bats flying and beetles too. Bring folding chair, headlamps or flashlights are permitted. Please put bug spray on before attending event. Don't want to spray our buggy friends! NOTE: Spotting Practice and Scouting Night will be July 27, 8:30-9:30 pm. Volunteers accepted.
