4 year old, Black and Tan Shiba girl. Healthy, spayed, gorgeous, affectionate, playful and has perfect house manners. She loves hanging out, sprawling at your feet, and going for walks, but she’s also very good at entertaining herself when you cannot be around. She is about 18 pounds and is fairly laid back for her breed. She would prefer to live: 1) in a calm quiet household 2) as an only pet 3) without any young kids 4) in a suburban or rural setting While I think she would be perfectly happy living with a professional or retired couple or (older) family, I strongly suspect she is by nature a true “one man/woman dog”, and, if she lives with a family/couple, will select one individual person to devote herself to. (In other words, she is not a “family dog” type). Preference given to applicants with prior Shiba Inu experience who understand and appreciate this unique breed. Interviews, home visit, vet reference and detailed contract required, so please do not waste your time or mine by inquiring about her unless you are serious. We are searching for the ideal home for her and are not in any rush to place her.
