Description

Wild Life Preschool Early childhood education with a Reggio style learning approach. Our indoor and outdoor classrooms lend themselves to independent and cooperative exploration of creativity, engineering, math literacy, physics, science, art, problem solving, and pre-reading skills. Children will have access to blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, and gooseberry bushes, pear and apple trees, and seasonal vegetables -of which they can pick for snacks and group meals. They will have plenty of space to dig, build, climb, search for bugs, play with water, and make mud pies. We will take walks through the woods and trails near Edgefield, play at Donald L. Robertson Park, and spend the majority of our day outside! Our dedicated indoor space will be a yurt, arriving in Jan. Until then our indoor space will be inside of my own home; it will be child-friendly and ready for playing. I have been running a childcare program in North Portland for 7 years (3 years in Wood Village before that!) and I am excited to open this new preschool in East Multnomah County. Serving families in the Wood Village, Troutdale, Fairview, Gresham, Corbet, Boring area. Spots are available starting in September for ages 3 to 5. Hours are Mon-Fri 8:00-5:30 Half days are $30 per day Full days are $60 per day Full time, 5 days per week is a reduced rate of $1100 per month. Scheduling is flexible.
